By purchasing from TAYI, you agree to the following:

1. General & "In Trade" Status
TAYI is a New Zealand-owned and operated business. We operate "in trade" as defined by the New Zealand Fair Trading Act 1986. By purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Pricing & Currency
All prices on our website are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). TAYI is not registered for GST; therefore, prices do not include GST and no GST is charged. We reserve the right to update pricing, modify collections, or discontinue products at any time without notice.

3. Handcrafted Nature & Product Variations
TAYI offers handcrafted, limited-run jewellery. Because each piece is individually made, minor variations in texture, form, finish, and natural gemstone characteristics will occur. These unique variations are an inherent part of the artisan process and are not considered manufacturing defects.

4. Orders & Cancellations
Once an order is placed and payment is processed, it is considered a commitment to purchase. We process orders quickly and cannot guarantee cancellations or modifications for change-of-mind.

5. Shipping & Delivery
We dispatch orders using tracked courier services. Estimated delivery timeframes are guidelines only. TAYI is not liable for delivery delays caused by courier networks, customs processing, or incorrect address entry by the customer.

6. Returns & Hygiene (Change of Mind)
Please choose carefully. Due to hygiene and health regulations, we do not accept returns or exchanges on earrings for change of mind. For other jewellery pieces, change-of-mind returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery only if the item is unworn, in its original packaging, and at the buyer's shipping expense.

7. Consumer Guarantees Act & Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If an item is faulty or does not meet acceptable quality standards, we will fulfill our statutory obligations to repair, replace, or refund the item.

However, TAYI is not liable for damage resulting from standard wear-and-tear, accidental damage, chemical exposure (such as perfumes, lotions, or pools), or failure to follow our specified jewellery care guidelines.
